Jen Camps, CDP

President, Senior Advisor

A Michigan native, grew up in Southeast Michigan and graduated from Grand Valley State University with a major in Business Administration. Jen began her career in Human Resource Management as a Generalist with a rapidly growing organization where she rose up the ranks for 15 years. Her next role would be with a small organization specializing in HR governmental reporting in a Consultant/Project Management role. In addition to these roles, Jen provided sale and operational support for Great Lakes Wellness Services, a small healthcare organization that focused on providing on-site vaccinations to senior citizens in independent living retirement communities and assisted living communities. Jen has recently completed classes in senior advising (CSA Program) and is a certified dementia practitioner. Her education, experience and passion for helping others has led her to senior advising at Northstar.

Ryan Camps, MHA, CSA

Vice President

A Michigan native, grew up in Southeast Michigan and graduated from Central Michigan University  with a degree in psychology and communication.  Upon graduation Ryan began working in the home healthcare industry while earning a graduate certificate in Business Administration at Eastern Michigan University.  Later moving into the diagnostic space of healthcare (radiology and laboratory), Ryan then earned a Master of Healthcare Administration from Louisiana State University, Shreveport.  He has also earned his Certification from the Society of Certified Senior Advisors as well as a Dementia Certification from Johns Hopkins University.  With a strong passion for the healthcare industry and to serve his fellow Michiganders, Ryan is very proud to be part of the NALA team!
